About the Creator
Derae is the creator behind A Human Odyssey.
His interests move between worlds that are often kept separate: technology and spirituality, computers and visual art, practical experimentation and questions about consciousness, awareness and the nature of human experience.
He has always been drawn to learning new things, exploring new tools and understanding how the world is changing. From computers and artificial intelligence to design, writing and digital production, curiosity is often the starting point.
Alongside technology, he has spent years exploring different spiritual perspectives and practices, including the work of healers, ayahuasca traditions, cosmic ideas and the many ways people try to understand themselves and their place in the universe.
A Human Odyssey grew from all of these interests. It is a place where ideas can become books, images, stories, guides and digital experiences.
Not every creation needs to change someone's life. Sometimes it is enough for a text to offer a new thought, for an image to create a feeling, or for a story to make someone pause for a moment.
